Michael Rubin, the CEO of Fanatics, has congratulated WWE star Cody Rhodes for becoming the brand’s top merchandise seller. The American Nightmare, as Cody is popularly known, took to Twitter to share a video in which Rubin can be heard praising him for his contribution to WWE’s merchandise sales. Rhodes expressed his gratitude for the continued support of the WWE Universe and urged for the momentum to keep going.
During a signing session at Fanatics Fest, Cody Rhodes was questioned about the recent return of Roman Reigns, another popular WWE superstar, to WWE. Reigns made his return during WWE SummerSlam 2024, which affected the outcome of the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match involving Solo Sikoa and Rhodes.
In response to the question, Rhodes indicated that the WWE, not in an exaggerated way, is more popular now than ever before. According to him, a significant part of its popularity is due to the Bloodline and Roman Reigns. He dismissed the notion that these forces could not coexist in the show, considering the current WWE roster as the best it has ever been.
Rhodes expressed his willingness to share SmackDown, RAW and every PLE with Roman Reigns, but also stated that the Undisputed WWE Championship belongs to him.
