Cody Rhodes formally punched his ticket to the centerpiece of WrestleMania 39 by winning the yearly 30-Man over-the-top-rope extravaganza on Saturday night. The American Nightmare got rid of WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER to score the greatest triumph of his profession at the Royal Rumble occasion at the Alamodome.

Rhodes went back to WWE at WrestleMania 38 following his exit from the promo in 2016.

While speaking with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport following his Royal Rumble success, Rhodes confessed to coveting John Cena and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for their area at the top of the food cycle while discussing his previous disappointments with WWE.

You can take a look at some highlights from the interview listed below:

Cody Rhodes on being distressed about a bus that remained in front of him with the faces of John Cena and The Rock:“For whatever factor, I was consuming Yoohoo, and it had actually remained in front of me for about a year, and I get it, it’s Cena, it’s Rock, however I was getting so close and getting knocked pull back and I took the Yoohoo bottle and I tossed it versus the side of the bus and I informed [Brandi] I simply can’t do this. I can’t be number 25 on the call sheet, I can’t even be 1b, guy. I wish to play quarterback.’

His apology for tossing a Yoohoo bottle at The Rock’s face:“Maybe I had some things when I left that I was ideal about, however there was a lot I wasn’t best about. … But yeah, I tossed a Yoohoo bottle versus The Rock’s face. Poor Rock, I’m so sorry.”

Cody on how he was disappointed due to the fact that he wished to remain in the leading area also:“These people, they’re on leading and on the top and on the top, and they’re on top for a factor. I simply wished to remain in that area and it took me a long time to get back at near it.”

Rhodes will now challenge WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the primary occasion of WrestleMania 39.
