At the second night of WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes, famously known as the ‘American Nightmare’, was escorted to the wrestling ring by his spouse, Brandi Rhodes. The wrestling match was against Roman Reigns, competing for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship title.
During his time on the “Insight with Chris Van Vliet” podcast, Cody Rhodes expressed his gratitude towards Triple H, Nick Khan, and Bruce Prichard for making his grand entrance with his wife possible. He asserted,
“You got to kind of relate back to or credit back to Triple H and Nick Khan and Bruce Prichard. They grasped the distinction between, ‘Hey, I desire to get my pal on the show’ and ‘Hey, this is a friend but actually, it’s a special segment that may get it.’ They registered what I was earlier explaining them, that this has been unfolding blatantly before them, she’s a substantial part of that, an enormous part of that.”
He further added, “She’s not a ‘stand behind you’ type, she’s a ‘stand next to you’ type so it was really welcoming that they wanted this to occur. Yeah, it’s my most cherished entrance ever and it’s pretty straightforward, apart from the pyro it’s comparatively cost-effective.”
