In a recent chat with “3News,” Cody Rhodes shared his thoughts on NXT’s growing prominence, describing it as potentially nerve-racking for those just stepping into the scene.

Rhodes made his last appearance in NXT in June and expressed his admiration for the brand’s accomplishments on The CW network so far.

Rhodes stated, “NXT, particularly with Baldo [Matt Bloom] and Shawn Michaels, as a talent and current main roster, NXT can be kind of intimidating. It’s not really a developmental anymore. It’s almost a grooming ground for these monsters who are going to come up and stand across the ring from you, and they’ve been trained by Shawn Michaels. We’re definitely preparing the next generation of superstars and wrestlers…Their run on CW, I’ve been blown away. Really special stuff.”

In a separate WWE narrative, Xavier Woods has been raising eyebrows due to some unexpected choices on WWE RAW, putting his rationale behind the actions in a fresh video.

As part of The New Day team, he posted a rollerblading video in which he analyzed recent decisions that stirred trouble with Kofi Kingston and other fan-favorite wrestlers, hinting at a potential shift to a heel character. This comprises unmasking Rey Mysterio during a match, declining Jey Uso’s hand after a defeat, and opting out from supporting R-Truth in an ambush by the Final Testament and The Miz.
