In a fresh conversation with “Gabby AF,” WWE superstar Cody Rhodes voiced his aspiration that WWE could arrange a pay-per-view spectacle in Italy, following the energizing live performance conducted in Bologna in May.
During the talk, Rhodes articulated emphatically, “I hold a deep hope that Italy will host a WWE event…. We had a live show in Italy. The atmosphere at Scotland was extraordinary. France was equally electrifying. But I wish individuals had the opportunity to witness the environment in Italy. I was oblivious to what we were stepping into. I was even unsure if we were known on Italian television. Hosting a pay-per-view event would be monumental. Although I don’t hold authoritative power and can’t facilitate anything, the Italian experience was positively unprecedented.”
Rhodes successfully held onto his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship belt, victoriously competing against Solo Sikoa at the celebrated SummerSlam 2024 event this previous weekend.
