In a recent discussion with Fox News, Cody Rhodes expressed his opinions on who he views as deserving of an entry into the WWE Hall of Fame. Among the names mentioned were John Cena, Randy Orton, and Cody’s sibling, Dustin Rhodes. Cody has been vocal in the past about his support for the recognition of Dustin.
A quick glimpse into the conversation is provided below:
On the topic of Cena and Orton’s Hall of Fame induction, Cody remarked, “I am of the belief that certain figures should secure a Hall of Fame spot immediately upon the conclusion of their wrestling careers. Regardless of whether you adore him, detest him, or feel neutrally about him, John Cena fits the bill. Similarly, Randy Orton deserves the same kind of acknowledgment.”
When discussing his brother’s potential recognition, he stated, “I’ve often proposed my brother’s name. I feel his contribution during the Attitude Era and beyond was significant. His talent is unparalleled. I yearn for this not only because he merits it, which he does, but because it would add more clout to our family legacy. The Hall of Fame holds different significance for different people. In the case of our family, it is of utmost importance – the title followed by the Hall of Fame admission. My father’s induction was a monumental moment. Hence, I’d love for my brother to share in a similar honor. Indeed, Randy is another person I frequently consider. We have a good number of potential Hall of Famers among us.”
