In his recent guesting on the “Reel Appreciation” podcast, Cody Deaner, prominent TNA wrestler, spoke about the rising popularity of fellow wrestler Joe Hendry.
In recent times, Hendry has gained considerable attention due to his appearances in WWE NXT, and his performance has made a significant impact in the professional wrestling community.
Moments from the podcast are shared below:
Regarding his thoughts about Joe Hendry, Deaner said, “Naturally, I’m a believer in Joe Hendry, eloquently asking, who wouldn’t be? Observing his journey is genuinely thrilling. Earlier, you asserted that I primarily viewed you as a person rather than a professional wrestler. That’s exactly the perspective I adopt when I think of Joe Hendry—I acknowledge him as a human first because we share a close relationship. We’ve collaborated on my podcast, I’ve helped produce some of his matches, and we’ve shared the wrestling ring. Considering all our shared experiences, I perceive Joe as a complete individual as you previously suggested and let me tell you, Joe Hendry is an absolutely remarkable person.”
On the topic of Hendry’s humane qualities, Deaner continued, “Joe is such a fantastic person, and it brings me immense joy when people like him achieve epic triumphs in the professional wrestling industry. Contrary to the widely accepted narrative where the ‘good guys always win,’ reality sometimes presents a different outcome. However, successes like Joe’s inspire me by reaffirming that good guys do indeed taste victory and can do it in their own unique style. Joe is truly a wonderful human being.”
