In the most recent broadcast of CMLL Informa, it was announced that a tournament is being organized by CMLL to select the winners for the Women’s World Tag Team Championship.
This championship was formerly held by Stephanie Vaquer and Zeuxis. However, the titles were left vacant when Vaquer decided to move to WWE.
The list of tag teams set to participate in the high-profile tournament is as follows:

- The duo La Catalina and Princesa Sugehit
- The pair of Lluvia and Tessa Blanchard
- The team comprising of Andromeda and Skadi
- Dark Silueta and Valkiria set to compete together
- The combo of Hera and Olimpica
- Saney and Nautica forming another team
- The duo of Reina Isis and Metalica
