As the widely recognized ‘Best in the World’, CM Punk has been actively involved in training sessions with several wrestling figures from TNA Wrestling, fueling rumors of his much-awaited comeback to the wrestling arena.

Punk has not been seen in action since the commencement of the year, owing to a grueling triceps injury. However, he has maintained a visible presence on WWE TV, engaging in a feud with Drew McIntyre.

Zachary Wentz gave fans a slight glimpse into a training seminar on Twitter, which Punk and his companion Ace Steel, both former WWE & AEW World Champions, attended.

Interestingly, Steel was relieved of duty from AEW not long after Punk’s dismissal in 2023. He later joined forces with TNA Wrestling, assuming the role of a producer.

Recent reports suggest that the stage is set for an intense showdown between Punk and McIntyre at SummerSlam 2024, with Seth Rollins confirmed as the guest referee.

In other news, Wentz is set to participate in this evening’s Slammiversary pay-per-view spectacle, alongside Trey Miguel and NXT’s Wes Lee. The trio is set to challenge NXT’s No Quarter Catch Crew.
