CM Punk To Receive Iron Mike Mazurki Award, ROH World Tag Team Title Match Set For Dynamite

CM Punk will be honored by the Cauliflower Alley Club with their 2023 Iron Mike Mazurki Award.

On Wednesday, the CAC announced that Punk will receive the 2023 iteration of the award, which is presented to “individuals who have made exceptional contributions to professional wrestling and have exhibited outstanding dedication to the sport both inside and outside the ring.”

The award will be presented at the CAC’s annual awards banquet in August.

In other news, it was announced on Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite that the Lucha Bros will defend the ROH World Tag Team Titles against Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta on next week’s episode of Dynamite.

Castagnoli earned the title shot on last week’s show after defeating Rey Fenix in a Double Jeopardy match. Had Fenix won, he would have received an ROH World Championship match against the Swiss wrestler.
