The news that Jesse Ventura was recently seen backstage at the WWE RAW TV tapings in St. Paul, MN has been making the rounds reported on eWn. He later posted a picture on his Twitter account featuring him and CM Punk, writing, “Why did I come back? For moments like these.”
In a subsequent conversation on the “SI Media Podcast,” punk expressed his astonishment over this unexpected encounter. He mentioned,”I was completely taken by surprise when I saw Governor Ventura the other day. He was really pleased to see me and mentioned how much things must have changed since my return. One of the most exciting things that ever happened to me was him saying ‘If Punk is back, I’ll go back.'”
Punk added more, stating, “I don’t want to take all the credit, but I do believe that my return makes a considerable difference. Unquestionably, it does.”
