Charting out his path for the future, CM Punk has shared his grandiose agenda for the year 2025, which will commence with him claiming victory in the upcoming Men’s Royal Rumble match.
In a recent footage released by WWE, various Superstars divulged their ambitions for the forthcoming year, amongst whom Punk candidly revealed his targets.
“Win the Royal Rumble, beat everybody, win all the titles, continue to make the New Day dress in the janitor’s closet, and shave Dominik Mysterio’s mustache.”
Punk made his first appearance in a Royal Rumble match back in 2007 and was the last one standing in the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match that was eventually won by Cody Rhodes.
Punk’s long-standing dispute with Dominik Mysterio can be traced back to December of 2023, when ‘Dirty Dom’ was Punk’s inaugural opponent in his comeback match in WWE at the end-of-year Boxing Day live event.
Complicating their rivalry further, Mysterio impeded Punk’s attempt to win the World Heavyweight Championship title against GUNTHER at a live WWE event in Chicago, IL dated December 29.
