Nonetheless, there are signs pointing to a probable repetition of history which could result in him being denied the title victory for the second time at this particular pay-per-view event. The reason? CM Punk was recently seen in Scotland.
Earlier today, news of Punk’s sighting in Scotland was reported by Rami Hanna of BodySlam.net. According to the report, Punk was seen at the hotel housing all WWE personnel and even at the gym within the hotel on Thursday evening. In addition, he shared a photo of a Glasgow church on Instagram and was even seen taking pictures with fans.

Though his presence in Scotland doesn’t necessarily assure his appearance at the show, it is a distinct possibility. WWE wouldn’t invest in his traveling expenses and accommodation if they didn’t intend to utilize him in the show unless it is a clever ruse designed to mislead fans about unforeseen events. But revealing such information and excluding him could disappoint fans anticipating Punk’s participation.
