CM Punk Seemingly Reacts To AEW Collision Announcement
It was announced on Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite that CM Punk will return to AEW on the inaugural episode of AEW Collision. The new weekly wrestling show premieres on June 17 from the United Center in Chicago, IL.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, Punk seemingly reacted to the major announcement with a clip from Billy Madison.
In that clip, Adam Sandler’s titular character catches a dodgeball from a kid and tells them that they are “in big trouble now” before wiping them out clean. As an interesting addition to this reference, Punk previously said he was “working with children” during the infamous All Out 2023 press conference last September.
Brody King and Dax Harwood later acknowledged Punk’s response on Twitter.
