In a recent episode of the “No Contest Wrestling” podcast, prominent WWE Superstar CM Punk shared his experience about his unexpected return to WWE last November at the Survivor Series: WarGames event.

CM Punk admitted that he was overwhelmed with emotion the moment he set foot in the arena.

Here are a few noteworthy moments from the podcast interview:

Regarding his encounter with Bayley backstage at the Survivor Series, he said, “I’m not sure people were aware. I recall being in the Gorilla position and then suddenly, I feel myself being embraced from behind in a bear hug. Upon turning around to identify the person, it’s Bayley. Her words to me were, ‘I f*ing knew it!'”

Regarding his reaction during his entrance to the arena: “I’m unsure of what to do. My composure completely slips away from me. All I’m aware of is that my cue is up. But the layout of the set, the presence of a ramp, remains a mystery. It felt like I was in complete darkness. I attempted to converse with Triple H over the table, but the clamor was overwhelming. … The moment my theme song starts playing, the noise level in the arena became too much to bear.”
