The CW network’s recent premiere of NXT, helmed by WWE, was quite eventful. With dramatic moments like Trick Williams defeating Ethan Page for the NXT Championship, Cora Jade’s return, and several promotional teases of DELTA on the horizon, fans had plenty to talk about. However, the final surprise came off-screen, when CM Punk encouraged attendees to grab pizza while leaving the event.
Post-show, Punk had arranged for a stand outside of the Allstate Arena where fans could help themselves to Lou Malnati’s pizza and a can of WWE’s C4 energy drink. This is reminiscent of Punk’s AEW Rampage: The First Dance debut where he famously distributed Pretty Cool Ice Cream to the attendees.
