CM Punk and Dominik Mysterio are embroiled in an exchange of verbal blows on the route to WrestleMania.
Dominik Mysterio took to Instagram Stories to post a vintage snapshot of CM Punk. In the caption, he provocatively referred to Punk as a “Washed old f*.
In retaliation, Punk uploaded a photograph of a young Dominik and chose a stinging caption that reads, “Lil’ b.”.
Here’s a peek at their intense social media exchange:
During a recent instalment of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, ex-WWE Superstar Sonya Deville, otherwise known as Daria Berenato, openly talked about the evolution of her WWE character.
Initially portrayed as a wrestler with a background in MMA, Deville’s character underwent transformation as the WWE started enlisting more former MMA fighters.
Here are some key excerpts from the podcast:
On her character’s evolution in WWE: “In the beginning, I was the premier female with an MMA background which made my character unique. However, as my character began to transform, we started to phase out the MMA aspects. This occurred around the same time WWE signed Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir, popularly known as the Four Horsewomen of MMA. So, I was comfortable shifting away from incorporating my MMA background into my character because I had other personality traits I could put on display while these women spearheaded the MMA wave.”
Reflecting on a missed window of opportunity with PFC: “I feel that not leveraging this situation was kind of a lost opportunity, particularly when our group PFC was forming. There could have been a more coherent direction for our trajectory,” observed Deville. “We were three women who were disillusioned with the system, resisting the establishment and ready to kick a and take names.”
