CM Punk doesn’t believe AJ Mendez (AJ Lee) will ever return to WWE, but he’d love to see his wife appear for the company again.

Lee has been away from WWE since 2015 and retired from professional wrestling, though she has worked as an executive producer and commentator for WOW – Women Of Wrestling since.

During a recent appearance on “The MMA Hour” podcast, Punk addressed a potential WWE return for Mendez. He said,

“Probably not. I think there is [an open door for Lee’s return to WWE]. Selfishly, I would love it, I’m her biggest fan. I love everything she does.”

Lee has invariably said she is unlikely to return to the ring due to the neck injury she suffered towards the end of her WWE run.

Former WWE Superstar AJ Francis (Top Dolla) will debut for House of Glory at ‘HOG The War Within’ next month on May 24 in New York City.

The ROH Women’s Championship will be on the line at AEW Battle of the Belts X. Tony Khan announced on Friday that Athena will defend her championship against Red Velvet during Saturday’s special.

The updated lineup for the show, which airs on TNT immediately after Collision, is as follows:

* AEW International Championship Eliminator Match: Roderick Strong vs. Rocky Romero
* FTW Championship Match: HOOK vs. Shane Taylor
* ROH Women’s Championship Match: Athena vs. Red Velvet

AEW’s Kevin Matthews appeared during a segment on Thursday’s episode of The Daily Show. You can check out a clip from the episode below:

And finally, Steve Keirn’s “The Keirn Chronicles Volume 2: The Phenomenal Wrestling Resurgence of Steve Keirn” is now available on Amazon. You can buy the book here.

CM Punk, the former WWE superstar, recently shared his thoughts on the potential return of his wife, AJ Mendez (AJ Lee), to the WWE. While he expressed his desire to see her back in the company, he also acknowledged that it is unlikely to happen.

AJ Lee has been away from WWE since 2015 and retired from professional wrestling. However, she has remained involved in the industry, working as an executive producer and commentator for WOW – Women Of Wrestling. Despite her continued presence in wrestling, a return to WWE seems unlikely.

During an appearance on “The MMA Hour” podcast, CM Punk addressed the possibility of Mendez returning to WWE. He admitted that while there might be an open door for her return, he doesn’t believe it will happen. Punk expressed his personal desire to see her back in the company, as he is her biggest fan and loves everything she does.

One of the main reasons AJ Lee is unlikely to return to the ring is due to a neck injury she suffered towards the end of her WWE career. This injury has likely influenced her decision to stay away from in-ring competition.

In other wrestling news, former WWE superstar AJ Francis, also known as Top Dolla, is set to debut for House of Glory at ‘HOG The War Within’ next month in New York City. This will be an exciting opportunity for Francis to showcase his skills in a new promotion.

Additionally, the ROH Women’s Championship will be defended at AEW Battle of the Belts X. Tony Khan, the president of AEW, announced that Athena will defend her championship against Red Velvet during the event. This match adds to the already stacked lineup for the show, which includes an AEW International Championship Eliminator Match and an FTW Championship Match.

AEW’s Kevin Matthews also made an appearance on a recent episode of “The Daily Show.” This crossover between wrestling and mainstream media highlights the growing popularity and influence of professional wrestling.

Lastly, fans of wrestling legend Steve Keirn can now enjoy his latest book, “The Keirn Chronicles Volume 2: The Phenomenal Wrestling Resurgence of Steve Keirn.” The book, which delves into Keirn’s career and contributions to the wrestling industry, is available for purchase on Amazon.

While fans may hope for AJ Lee’s return to WWE, it seems unlikely at this point. However, there are still plenty of exciting developments and events happening in the world of professional wrestling to keep fans entertained and engaged.
