The professional wrestler, CM Punk, attended the San Diego Comic-Con recently where he took part in the WWE Mattel Elite Squad panel.
During an interactive Q&A session, an attendee questioned about a possible TV appearance of Larry, Punk’s pet dog.
The Second City Saint responded in a light-hearted manner, stating, Larry is “not allowed at shows anymore.”
He continued, “I don’t know. He’s not allowed at shows anymore because of the…..[laughter]. We’ll see. We’ll see. If only he had a legends deal in his name. It’s something we’re working on. I’m aware there’s a lot of discussions about Larry’s contract situation.”
The comment made by Punk refers to the notorious backstage feud at AEW All Out 2022. During the altercation, Punk and The Elite got physical, and Larry was also present at the scene.
This weekend, fans will witness Punk’s much-anticipated return to the ring at WWE SummerSlam 2024. He is set to take on Drew McIntyre.
