CM Punk Defeats Satoshi Kojima At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II

During Sunday night’s AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door II pay-per-view event, CM Punk defeated Satoshi Kojima in the first round of the Owen Hart Cup to advance to the next stage of the tournament.

Punk nailed Kojima with a GTS to punch his ticket to the semifinals of the tournament, where he will face the winner of Roderick Strong vs. Samoa Joe.

Punk played like a heel throughout the match, as he performed a Hogan-style leg drop to the boos of the crowd. However, the former AEW World Champion gave Kojima a show of respect following the bout.
