Wrestling superstar CM Punk recently made an appearance on the radio program “Spiegel & Holmes on 670 The Score,” where he conversed on an array of subjects, notably his ongoing feud with fellow wrestler Drew McIntyre.

When asked about his thoughts on McIntyre, Punk curtly responded, “Well, one can’t deny that a good rivalry triggers excitement among people. However, honestly speaking, my opinion about Drew is not very pleasant. It’s a little contentious to ask me to speak well of him. Even though it might appear to be a distasteful squabble, I realize that it captivates spectators akin to a shocking mishap. They find something enthralling about witnessing an intense beef. Like when Blackhawks have their games…perhaps not with Detroit any longer, maybe Minnesota? Or like when the Cubs face off against the (White) Sox, the inner-city rivalry ignites a certain thrill. And that is something I can relate to.”

In related news, Drew McIntyre also recently appeared as a guest on the podcast “The Takedown” by SI, recalling a chilling event during his Hell in a Cell match against Randy Orton in 2020. Reliving the scary moment, he confessed, “At the moment, it felt like I’d severely injured my neck and back. I had bitten my tongue too, causing me to spit blood which ultimately became part of the match sequence. The fall, indeed, was the most horrific one I’ve experienced. Reflecting on it, like Seth Rollins and I have often ventured into, if there was one moment in our career that we could completely erase, it definitely would be that calamitous fall from [Hell in a Cell]. And that’s purely considering the fall, setting aside the ongoings within the cell.”
