Wrestling superstar CM Punk was forced into inactivity after going through a triceps tear in the Royal Rumble match for men in January of this year. As per the latest updates shared by WrestleVotes, it is expected that Punk will regain fitness in time for the SummerSlam, slated to happen in August.
In a dramatic turn of events at the event, Clash at the Castle: Scotland, Punk unexpectedly prevented McIntyre from securing a win in the WWE World Heavyweight Title. This happened against Damian Priest when Punk intervened during the pin attempt count and struck McIntyre with a low shot.
The Allstate Arena has publicized the official announcement of CM Punk’s participation in the WWE SmackDown TV tapings scheduled on the 21st of June. Confirming his absence for today’s episode of WWE RAW, Punk has already clarified his non-participation.
