While AJ Lee’s return to WWE shouldn’t be completely dismissed, the former wrestler doesn’t seem to be actively pursuing such a goal right now.
During the World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Money in the Bank 2024, Punk made an unexpected intrusion which essentially spoiled Drew McIntyre’s opportunity to cash-in at Money in the Bank.
In the media interaction following the Money in the Bank 2024, Punk addressed inquiries about AJ Lee’s possible return, advising fans to “never say never” when it comes to his spouse’s potential wrestling comeback.
Having said that, Punk disclosed that Lee is currently finding immense satisfaction in her pursuits outside the wrestling domain.
The last time Lee was seen in action for WWE was during the post-WrestleMania 31 segment of RAW. After her departure, she made her presence felt in the film industry and collaborated with the WOW – Women of Wrestling promotion.
