CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana, hasn’t appeared on AEW programming, but she’s part of the story her husband, Miro tells practically every time he’s on AEW programming.

“The Redeemer” regularly references Perry, without naming her, by calling her his “hot” wife and referencing what they do behind closed doors. For months, fans have wondered whether Perry will appear alongside Miro in some capacity in AEW. If nothing else, her recent comments on the matter during a virtual signing with East Coast Autograph Auctions will likely fuel that speculation.

“Well, I’m gonna tell you, stay tuned,” said Perry. “I can’t give everything away. I can’t give all the hot tea right now.” (H/t Jeremy Lambert of Fightful.)

Likewise, a few days after Sammy Guevara defeated Miro to win the AEW TNT Championship on AEW Dynamite, Perry jokingly tweeted that she’d take the title back to her husband.

Hey Spanish God @sammyguevara you cheated so I’m taking the #TNT Championship back to God’s Favorite Champion @ToBeMiro !!!!!! pic.twitter.com/WFOaqbNP4h

Fans will have to wait and see what the futue holds for Perry.

WWE released Lana on June 2, ending her run with the company nearly eight years after it began. She had been a featured star on WWE programming throughout her career; she was most known for her role as the manager of Rusev (now Miro), and Lana had been competing in a tag team alongside Naomi prior to her release.
