Christian Cage Retires The TNA Wrestling World Title

Christian Cage is about moving forward even if he appreciates his past.
Christian Cage, because of his victory over Kenny Omega on the August 13 episode of AEW Rampage, is the new IMPACT Wrestling World Champion. At first, this meant he had to carry around the TNA Wrestling World Championship as well but Christian Cage has put it into that in his very first appearance in the IMPACT Zone.
On the August 19 episode of IMPACT, Christian Cage came to the ring and explained what his victory meant to him. He also spoke about his roots in TNA Wrestling and how much he appreciated his early days with the company but said that now was the time to get free from the past and officially respectfully retired the TNA Wrestling World Championship.
