In a recent airing of the well-known “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Mark Henry, a legend in WWE and member of the Hall of Fame, divulged the counsel he gave to PAC, a wrestler with AEW.
PAC was encouraged by Henry to contemplate reducing the quantity of high spots in his bouts. The ex-broadcaster of AEW commented,
“Undeniably, you are such a phenomenal entertainer. All you need to do is put up a facade that you’re going to ascend, and then don’t. Want a hostile crowd? He agreed and began implementing it. I pointed out to him that he’s a condensed version of myself. Be cruel, be spiteful, he’s just quintessentially more physically superior than I am. That individual is outstanding and yet another one who’s talents are underemployed.”
Recently, PAC participated in the AEW Dynamite’s Forbidden Door Casino Gauntlet Match which was held on 29th May.
In an episode of the “Insight” podcast, Christian Cage shared his experiences with WWE and the formidable challenges he tackled being part of this multi-billion dollar enterprise.
As of now, Cage is a two-time TNT champion at AEW. He remembered a specific event from 2005 in which he wrestled Batista, a crowd puller, while Cage played the antagonist.
Despite receiving applause from the crowd, Christian Cage, also known as Captain Charisma, alleged that WWE selectively edited the recording to exclude this reaction.
Cage remarked, “When we returned backstage, Batista asked ‘What’s happening with you, man? They need to do something,’ and all I could say was ‘I don’t know.’ What followed was the triple threat match involving me, Cena, and Jericho. But when they brought Chris into the mix – perhaps they didn’t think I was capable of holding my own – that really irked me. I felt like they weren’t even granting me an opportunity to prove myself. They just decided to bring in a third player. This signaled to me that nothing would change unless I took matters into my own hands.”
