Christian Cage Defeats Matt Hardy, Beats Him In Singles Match For The First Time

The history between Christian Cage and Matt Hardy speaks for itself, and at AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest Night One, the rivals added another chapter to it. The two stars faced off in a singles match, and Cage controlled the early portion of the bout.

But with a nasty DDT onto the steel steps, Hardy tipped the scales in his favor. He then launched Cage throat-first and grounded his enemy for a few minutes.

Both men countered each other’s finishing move, and Cage dropped Hardy with an impactful Spear. Later in the bout, Cage somehow kicked out after Hardy hit him below the belt and hit the Twist of Fate. In the end, Cage hit the Killswitch out of nowhere for the victory.

The Jurassic Express then saved Cage from a post-match attack by the Hardy Family Office.
