Chris Jericho, the world-renowned wrestler, recently appeared on “The Adam Corolla Show”. During the interview, he reminisced about his professional association with Vince McMahon, his former chief. Below are some noteworthy excerpts from the podcast.
Jericho highlighted what he grasped from McMahon, saying, “Nothing is perpetually spectacular, but when it comes to wrestling, I gained a lot of insight about the actual wrestling aspect from him.”
While discussing the documentary series featuring Mr. McMahon, he said, “He’s an extremely contested figure… The timing of the series amidst other current events is intriguing. It seems to follow a cyclical pattern, but, yes, it was definitely engaging.”
Turning to another recent interview on the “Wrestlesphere” podcast, Brody King expressed his aspiration to clinch the AEW World Champion title and potentially wrestle with Samoa Joe. Commenting on the matter, he stated,
“This opportunity with Darby surprisingly emerged when he extended the open challenge and gave me a platform to showcase a different aspect of myself, which I hadn’t done over the previous years with House of Black. This exposed a glimpse into Brody King’s private life and harked back to my appearance in the camouflage jacket and face mask. My dream has always been to wrestle with Samoa Joe, the foremost person in AEW that I’ve wanted a showdown with. He inspired me early on during my training and has been one of my favorite wrestlers ever since. Venturing into different zones, wrestling with new contenders and letting them take a taste of my brand of wrestling…that’s my ambition. I’d love to be the AEW Heavyweight champion one day, although I’m not banking on it.”
