While Chris Jericho has worked with a plethora of talent and legends over the course of his career, he never got the chance to wrestle Bret Hart or Randy Savage.

During a recent watch-along of the November 28, 1987 episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event for his “Talk is Jericho” podcast, the AEW wrestler revealed that one of his biggest regrets over the course of his wrestling career is that he never got the chance to work with the two WWE Hall of Famers.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On the Hart vs. Savage match: “What a f**ing talent. That’s one of my biggest regrets — I never got to work with Bret or Savage, even though I was in WCW with both of them!”

On why he never wrestled either man: “I was never allowed to get booked with those guys. It was so stupid…. [Years later, Savage] was like, ‘Yeah, I wish I had a chance to work with you.’ I’m like, ‘Then why didn’t you request it?’”
