Marty Janetty recently spoke on Buff Bagwell’s podcast about his last individual competition with Joey Janela in 2018.

Janetty shared his experience from the match with Janela, which took place approximately 5 to 7 years ago during WrestleMania weekend in Orlando. Despite being in his late fifties at the time, Janetty highlighted how he was able to compete effectively against Janela who was in his twenties and provided excellent competition.

Regarding his ankles, Janetty mentioned that it took around a year for him to start moving, walking, and being active again.

In another podcast called “Insight”, Chris Bey revealed how he had a conversation with fellow wrestler CM Punk, post his surgery, which had a significant impact. This conversation occurred after Punk mentioned Bey in his WWE RAW promo after defeating Seth Rollins during the RAW premiere on Netflix.

Bey explained that Punk’s words after his surgery helped him to change his outlook on his new obstacle and transformed his life. He also expressed his excitement after having been mentioned by Punk on Raw, which he found surprising, humbling, and grateful.

In other wrestling news, Jordynne Grace, recently posted a video of a previous training session in which her husband, Jonathan Gresham, and rockstar Wiz Khalifa and his bodyguards were present. Meanwhile, Jeff Jarrett declared his intention to defend his AAA Tag Team Championships at Rey De Reyes, following the announcement by Lucha Libre AAA that the titles were vacated due to lack of defense.

Lastly, due to increasing demand for tickets, MLW is shifting the venue for Battle Riot VII to a larger arena, Thunder Studios Arena in Long Beach. All tickets purchased for the original location will still be valid and they have planned to release a new wave of tickets soon for the more substantial venue.
