Chelsea Green recently revealed the behind-the-scenes workings of her involvement in the electrifying Money in the Bank Ladder match in her home country, Canada.
Green was one of the six standout females who battled it out in the 2024 Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder contest, where she was brutally handled by the ultimate victor, Tiffany Stratton.
Adding a unique twist to the event, commentator Michael Cole shared that Chelsea Green suffers from acrophobia, adding an added dimension to her participation in the match.
During her guest appearance on the podcast “The Masked Man Show,” Green extended her gratitude to Ken (Dykstra) Doane and Petey Williams for their assistance in crafting her role for the match. She eloquently stated,
“Ken Doane and Petey Williams, they are representative of who I am. Whatever I owe, I owe to them. They bring my character to life. Any off-the-rail idea I come up with, they’re always supportive. They were instrumental in planning and producing that match and were quintessential in narrating the onplay.”
“I did not direct commentary whatsoever. I was too engrossed with the chaotic proceedings backstage at Money in the Bank; it was them who briefed the commentary about the plot. I was left in the dark until my father messaged me, asking about my fear of heights. The way the entire story fell into place was anything but expected. Only on the day of the match did we realize the unique angle we were projecting.”
On a recent broadcast of WWE SmackDown, portfolio holder Stratton attempted to leverage her Money in The Bank advantage over Women’s Champion Bayley, only to retract when faced by formidable opponent Nia Jax.
Jax, who etched her name in history as the 2024 Queen of the Ring, looks set to test Bayley for the coveted WWE Women’s Title at the SummerSlam event slated for August 3, unless of course, Stratton decides to cash in her advantage first.
