During the press conference at the NASCAR Pennzoil 400 race, Chelsea Green, a beloved WWE star, expressed her dream wrestling match entrance would include a live performance by hip-hop artist Cardi B.
Green was quoted as saying, “You’re putting me on the spot, I love it. I’ll say, first of all, Cardi B has to sing me out. I’ve got an awesome entrance song, and I believe Cardi B would be the perfect artist to perform as I make my way to the ring. We’ll need all things iconic American, which might take some time to put together. Picture me dressed as the Statue of Liberty, surrounded not just by my two Secret Service women, but an entire crew. We’ll include typical American symbols like large flags and maybe a NASCAR car. It has to be authentically American. I’m going to compile a list, so I will be prepared when my boss asks me about this.”
Additionally, in a recent conversation on “The Ariel Helwani Show,” Natalya discussed her career choices outside of the WWE, mentioning that she still believes she has yet to secure her position in wrestling.
In response to being told the industry owes her family a lot, Natalya responded, “I appreciate that sentiment, but I aim to start each day without a sense of entitlement…I am incredibly proud of my family, but for me, I never feel like anything is owed to me. I always desire to earn my place. The women’s division in WWE has never been this powerful. We’ve never seen such a high level of competitiveness. As I look at the women in NXT, Raw, and SmackDown, I realize that, collectively, we are stronger than ever. However, I don’t rest on my past achievements. I don’t spend time reminiscing on what I did or had. Yes, I’ve had some incredible matches, but I never solely rely on those or past accomplishments. In my opinion, you need to continually prove yourself. Therefore, even with everything I’ve accomplished, I truly feel the need to step out of WWE and then work my way back in.”
