Chelsea Green Having Surgery On Her Wrist Today

Chelsea Green is in good spirits despite an unfortunate setback.
Green posted the following update, noting she’s having surgery on his wrist as well as being optimistic about her eventual return.
Just like the rest of my career, I couldn’t have an easy debut! LOL, that just wouldn’t be fit for my wild journey. I’m headed into surgery now. I am beyond devastated but so excited to be a part of @WWE team SmackDown, when I get back!

Green’s SmackDown in-ring debut was cut short due to a broken wrist in the opening moments of the match. Chelsea Green made her debut in a backstage segment with Adam Pearce before she was a last-minute entrant in a fatal 4-way match with a Survivor Series spot on the line. Green was quickly taken out of the match, which we now know was due to injury.
WWE.com initially posted an update, confirming Green was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation. Green also commented on her injury on Friday night, posting the following on Instagram:

If you wondered where I went after my entrance, here’s your answer… another broken arm. Nothing I haven’t dealt with before! I’ll be back before you know it!
No other details about how Green broke her wrist were given but it would appear it happened during a spot on the apron. This was her first match since May 27 when she teamed with Charlotte Flair to defeat Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley on the NXT brand.
