At WWE WrestleMania 36 Part 2, Charlotte Flair challenged Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship. Flair earned the title shot with her victory in the 2020 WWE Women’s Royal Rumble. Early on, Flair controlled the match but Ripley quickly turned it around on The Queen. The champion hit the Riptide out of nowhere for a near fall. Ripley dumped Flair onto the floor and dove onto her outside the ring. The champion maintained the advantage and trash-talked Flair. The Queen capitalized on a mistake and targeted Ripley’s leg for a few minutes. Flair used the ring post to brutalize Ripley’s leg even more. A brutal chop block helped Flair keep control of the match. Ripley rallied and slammed Flair. The champion rocked Flair with some knees to the head.
