WWE NXT Tag Team Champion Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo is confident that the gold brand can hold its own against any other show on TV.
On a recent edition of the “Niko Knows Best” podcast, Lorenzo spoke about his time in NXT and how the show compares to the main roster. He said,
“I think ‘NXT’ is building another brand right here that rivals any other show on TV right now. I literally think we’re prepared to do that. I don’t think it’s too far ahead into the future. I want to be a part of that. I really see myself as … some of the tag teams coming through, we’re gonna have some Takeover-quality matches very soon. We’re really building a great division here.”
WWE NXT will move to the CW Network in October 2024 while SmackDown will have a new home on the USA Network. A broadcast partner for RAW has yet to be locked in.
Lorenzo is in his second reign as an NXT Tag Team Champion alongside Tony D’Angelo. The pair regained the titles from Chase U during the November 14, episode of WWE NXT.
