In a recent episode of the “Cheap Heat” podcast, WWE wrestling professional Chad Gable shared his thoughts on the similarities between him and Kurt Angle, and his experience of getting a chance to grapple with the WWE Hall of Famer in 2019.

When asked about comparisons with Kurt Angle, Chad Gable responded: “Receiving such comparison is truly the greatest compliment for me. Kurt is regarded by some, if not many, as one of the most accomplished professional wrestlers of all time – not only in terms of athleticism but also for his remarkable character and entertainment value. Indeed, he had it all.”
Discussing his wrestling match against Angle before the latter’s retirement in 2019, he said: “Kurt was somewhat selective with his opponents during that time, and he chose me for a match in Chicago. We ended up having an unexpected extended 10-minute match live on television. For me, it was the ultimate thrill… like a ‘OMG’ moment.”
