In a recent episode of the “Cheap Heat” podcast, WWE’s Chad Gable shed some light on his decision to renew his contract with WWE.
Here are a few key takeaways from his conversation on the podcast:
Discussing what his alternatives could have been had he decided not to continue his journey with WWE, Gable shared, “Having multiple options is always beneficial. People might hastily conclude that if I didn’t renew, I’d be heading elsewhere. But truthfully, I hold Masters degrees and have diverse interests including motion graphics, filmmaking, and more. I find the realm of production fascinating and consider it a passion.”
Delving into what his future might have held if his WWE stay hadn’t continued, he had this to say: “I always fancied the idea of going unnoticed when their contracts conclude or when they retreat from wrestling, till they simply fade into oblivion. It isn’t some grand spectacle. This is how I pictured myself. It’s uncertain what path I might have undertaken. I may have headed for Hollywood and tried my hand at making films or crafting title sequences. I was receptive to all possibilities for a while as I deliberated the choice. The concept of slowly disappearing once it’s all over, leading to people saying their goodbyes; and boom, you’re done, has always appealed to me.”
Gable is gearing up to participate in the 2024 Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match on Saturday, July 6, scheduled to take place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.
