Chad Gable Sports American Made Luchador Mask, Interferes In Tornado Tag Team Match

Previously, WWE aired scenes of Chad Gable in Mexico, making a purchase that hinted strongly he was buying a luchador mask. It was suggested this was his strategy to gain a better understanding of the lucha style and find a way to conquer it. In this week’s WWE Monday Night Raw episode, the nature of this mask was revealed.

During a whirlwind tag team clash between The New Day and LWO’s Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee, Chad Gable made a surprise appearance. Dressed in a hoodie and the striking, exaggerated “American Made” emblem luchador mask showcased above, he emerged from the audience and interrupted the match:

Security officials pursued him away while Michael Cole and Pat McAfee condemned Gable’s behavior.

As Gable has now officially involved himself in LWO’s affairs, it’s looking increasingly probable we’ll witness a multi-man match at WrestleMania 41 featuring him, potential contenders The Creed Brothers, The New Day and possibly more individuals (Ludwig Kaiser? Pete Dunne? Judgment Day?) taking on LWO. The latter might recruit other luchadors like Penta and maybe even Rey Fenix to join their side.

However, these are all conjectures at this point. All we can say for certain is that Gable has reintroduced a luchador mask, that shares a resemblance to the Patriot, into his persona.

Update: Later, Cathy Kelley conducted a backstage interview with Chad Gable, accusing him of causing the earlier disturbance. Gable completely denied the allegations but suddenly another individual dressed in the same outfit was seen being led away by security. This intriguing development makes the plot more complex.
