The dissolution of the wrestling group comprising Chad Gable, Otis, Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa left everyone pondering about the future tag name of the group without Gable, as well as for Gable’s new team with The Creed Brothers. Interestingly, this issue was previously an EWN Question of the Day.

Now, with the conclusion of this week’s WWE Monday Night RAW episode, the curtains have been lifted off this mystery.

Earlier in the evening, Gable intervened in a conversation between Ivy Nile and Maxxine Dupri. The discussion was all about Nile’s attempt to justify the way Brutus Creed and Julius Creed had recently turned heel. Gable, on the other hand, renounced the Alpha Academy tag and permitted Dupri, Otis and Tozawa to retain it, stating his lack of interest in the designation.

The tweet from WWE reads: “I got a new team now.”@WWEGable has nothing more to do with Alpha Academy…#WWERaw

Subsequently, while making his way towards the ring for the major six-man tag team match opposite The Wyatt Sicks, Gable hastily mentioned his group as “American Made.”

Subsequently, WWE tweeted: “We are American Made.”@WWEGable and The Creed Brothers are up against The Wyatt Sicks. #WWERaw

Seemingly, this might have been a provisional nickname or phrase used specifically for that promo. However, Michael Cole and Pat McAfee continued to call the group by this name during their commentary, thus validating its official status.

How do you feel about these new designations? Should Otis and his crew have come up with something different rather than sticking with Alpha Academy? Is ‘American Made’ worthy enough, or does it simply remind you of Hulk Hogan’s old theme? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
