Cesaro & Nakamura Lose To New Day, Braun Strowman Wants IC Title Shot

The New Day came away with a big win over Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro tonight on Friday Night SmackDown, but suffered afterwards. Following the finish, Cesaro, Sami Zayn, and Nakamura all assaulted Kofi Kingston. Thankfully for Kingston, though, Braun Strowman was there to run down into the ring, where he cleared things out, making it clear that he wants a shot at the Intercontinental Championship that he referred to earlier in the night.

Big E. lands multiple suplexes. Huge splash by Big E. Cesaro breaks up the pin. Cesaro and Nakamura a sent to the outside. Kingston lands a dive. After the break, Nakamura blasts Big E. with a flying knee off the top rope. Nakamura calls for the Kinshasa. Big E. counters with a clothesline that turns Nakamura inside out. Both men tag in their partners. Kingston is a house of fire. Kingston lands a double jump springboard hurricanrana on Cesaro. Cesaro kicks out. Standing double stomp by Kingston. Boom drop by Kingston. Kingston calls for Trouble in Paradise. Cesaro reverses it into the Swiss death uppercut. Big E. breaks up the pin. Big E. launches Kingston over the top rope into Nakamura and Cesaro. Cesaro swings Kingston. After a series of counters, Kingston rolls up Cesaro for the win.
