Big E and Cesaro took to the ring on tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, with a match to decide what the stipulation would be for their upcoming WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships match at The Horror Show At Extreme Rules.
In the ring, Cesaro was able to come out on top, taking down Big E thanks to some help from Shinsuke Nakamura who a big kick to Big E from the apron. After that, Cesaro landed the Neutralizer on Big E for the victory, giving both Cesaro and Nakamura the chance to set up the stipulation. Following the match, Cesaro and Nakamura confirmed that they had chosen a Tables Match as the stipulation, after the great feeling they had putting Big E and Kofi Kingston through a table last week.
Earlier this year, @SNICKERS and @DollarGeneral customers had the opportunity to vote on an #ExtremeRules match stipulation. The votes are in, and it’s too close to call! Therefore, @WWEBigE vs. @WWECesaro will serve as a TIE-BREAKER! #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/sKtS0t3ToM
