Cesaro And Shinsuke Nakamura Retain The SmackDown Tag Titles At Clash of Champions

At WWE Clash of Champions Kickoff, Kalisto and Lince Dorado of Lucha House Party challenged Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship. All match long, Kalisto and Dorado used their athleticism to counter Cesaro’s strength and Nakamura’s technical prowess. The champions gained the upper hand and isolated Dorado.

Nakamura and Cesaro worked like a veteran team and showed that they’re gelling together. Dorado rallied but Cesaro overpowered him and kept him grounded. Nakamura drilled Dorado with a series of knees, but Dorado rallied and tagged Kalisto, who turned the match’s momentum. He dropped Cesaro with a tornado DDT. Dorado and Kalisto teamed up to hit Cesaro with another spinning DDT outside the ring. The challengers hit Cesaro with three consecutive moonsaults for a two count. Nakamura attacked Dorado at ringside, and the champions hit the swing/knee combination to retain the championship.
