Cathy Kelley has several current goals in mind after returning to WWE last year.
While speaking on a recent edition of the “Insight With Chris Van Vliet” podcast, the WWE backstage interviewer commented on what she’s planning to do during her current stint in WWE.
Additionally, Kelley praised Stephanie McMahon’s leadership abilities and “how nice she is to everybody in the room.”
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On talking with McMahon when she returned to WWE: “Steph asked me [if I wanted to do commentary] when I was coming back. She was kind of picking my brain as to what I would want to do, whether that was joining the writing team or come back and do commentary. I don’t know that I’m cut out for commentary. Like we said earlier, Michael Cole makes it look easy, and that is not an easy job.”
On her current goals in WWE: “The goal now, I think, is to keep doing what I’m doing. I have thought about potentially, I would love, maybe, to get involved with more storylines in the future. Whether that’s in my role or in a different capacity. And then I want to continue to write in my time off. I wanna potentially work on other acting roles and hosting roles outside of WWE, but I don’t see myself leaving in the way that I did last time.”
On Stephanie McMahon’s leadership skills: “She is just, to me, the epitome of what a leader should be. I know that I learned so much by being around her and how nice she is to everybody in the room, it doesn’t matter who they are. When you’re around someone who has that level of respect for everyone, you just can’t not have that level of respect for them.”
