Cash Wheeler labels wrestling icons Adam Copeland & Beth Phoenix his “wrestling mom and dad.” during his guest appearance on “Close Up with Renee Paquette” where he chatted about their impact on his profession.

Wheeler opened up about,

“Adam and Beth who have played the pivotal role of my wrestling parents for more than a decade. I met Adam after he relocated to Asheville, [North Carolina] in 2009. We gradually became buddies. At that time, he was still the world champion, nevertheless, he unhesitatingly offered me advice even without me asking for it. He just wanted to help.”

He carried on, “Even before I was in a position to contribute anything to them, they generously made sure I was gaining knowledge. They cared for me. That’s how they are. And then Adam and Beth started dating. I was even present at the onset of their romantic relationship. Adam once revealed ‘I think Beth is into me.’”
