Last Friday, Cash Wheeler, real-name Daniel Wheeler, was arrested as he faces one count of aggravated assault with a firearm. The incident happened on July 27th before a warrant for Wheeler’s arrest was issued the day after.
On August 3, he pleaded not guilty to the charge through his attorney. In Florida, the charge is classified as a third-degree felony. The judge signed off on him being released on a $2,500 bond last week. The prosecutor noted it was alleged that Wheeler flashed a firearm during a road rage incident.
FTR (Wheeler and Dax Harwood) are the current AEW Tag Team Champions. They’ll defend their titles against The Young Bucks at the All In 2023 pay-per-view event at Wembley Stadium on August 27th.
There are currently no restrictions on Wheeler traveling internationally. Sports Illustrated reports Wheeler is still expected to appear at the show and wrestle.
