Cash Wheeler Arrested This Morning For Aggravated Assault With Firearm

After being arrested by the Orlando Police Department on Friday morning, Cash Wheeler, Daniel Wheeler, faces one count of aggravated assault with a firearm.

The Orlando Sentinel broke the story first. According to county records, Wheeler was detained in Circuit Court following his arrest.

This afternoon, Wheeler is scheduled for a hearing. On July 28, a warrant for his arrest was issued. On August 3, he pled not guilty to the charge through his attorney. In Florida, the charge is classified as a third-degree felony.

FTR (Wheeler and Dax Harwood) is the current AEW Tag Team Champions. They’ll defend their titles against The Young Bucks at the All In pay-per-view event from Wembley Stadium on August 27th.

AEW issued the following statement:

“AEW has been made aware of the charge, and we are closely monitoring the situation. (Wheeler) is fully cooperating with local authorities.”
