Carmelo Hayes Picks Seth Rollins As His Dream WrestleMania Opponent

NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes is ready to step in the ring with the very first holder of that title: Seth Rollins.

Hayes is in his first reign as NXT Champion after dethroning Bron Breakker at NXT Stand & Deliver earlier this month.

Speaking on WWE’s official Snapchat channel, Hayes was asked who his dream opponent at WrestleMania would be. He said,

“I’ve been on record saying this a bunch of times so I’m just going to stay consistent with it: Seth Rollins. I feel like he’s somebody that I would have good chemistry within the ring. On top of that, I see our careers as very much being parallel in the sense of he was the first NXT Champion and I’m the current NXT champion. I think that would be a good story to tell down the road.”

Hayes will defend his championship against Grayson Waller at NXT Spring Breakin’ on April 25.
