During a recent chat with Alistair McGeorge from Metro UK, Carmelo Hayes and Johnny Gargano of WWE fame shared their sentiments on the recent exit of certain WWE stars, namely Baron Corbin, Indi Hartwell, and Tegan Nox.

Below are some extracts from the dialogue:

Hayes uttered his thoughts about WWE’s latest oustings, sharing, “It’s uncanny because I’ve encountered it many times, regrettably, where one moment you’re amidst someone, and the other they’re not there. It feels akin to survivor’s guilt, if you grasp what I’m saying? After a day or two, you’re like, ‘Man!’ It’s just heartbreaking to witness that happening to them.”

Talking specifically about Baron Corbin, Hayes stated, “Here’s the thing, Baron was one of the few who actually took me under their guidance and liked me. He offered so much to me, helped me a lot, shared a lot of wisdom. This wasn’t just about wrestling, but included life lessons, financial advice, among other things. I will forever owe a debt of gratitude to Baron Corbin – an extremely gifted individual, and it’s tough to see him leave. This was one of those instances that really stung a bit, seeing that he’d left, since believe it or not, Baron and I had a close-knit bond, everyone had a fondness for Baron.”

Turning the spotlight to Indi Hartwell, Gargano quipped, “It’s evident how dearly Candice and I hold Indi, we genuinely adore and firmly believe in her. We continue to believe she has a lot to present to the world of wrestling, being incredibly young. We look forward to seeing what she brings to wrestling. I think she possesses untapped prowess and potential. I believe when she finally reveals that to the global audience, they will embrace her.”

Gargano, expressing his wish that Hartwell may return to WWE, said, “It all fell into place for Candice and me. Hopefully, the same happens for her, but only time will tell.”
