Following the announcement, Giulia tweeted to confirm her new status, positioning herself as a prominent figure in the SmackDown ensemble. The tweet read, “Giulia of SmackDown! Remember the name. SmackDown just got dangerous.”
In other news, reigning WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton successfully defended her title against Nia Jax on this week’s episode. Despite interference from Naomi and Jade Cargill, Stratton sealed her victory with a face kick, and her signature move, the Prettiest Moonsault Ever. Former WWE Women’s Champion Carmella (whose real name is Leah Van Dale) parted ways with WWE in early 2025 following non-renewal of her contract. Carmella’s last competition was in March 2023 and she had been away from the ring since 2022 due to health complications post childbirth in November 2023.
