In a recent conversation with “New York Post Sports,” ex-WWE superstar Carmella shared her experiences and creative contributions towards the conception of Pretty Deadly: The Musical, a project frequently mentioned in the media.
The highlights of her enlightening discussion follow:
Regarding reaching out to the Pretty Deadly team to contribute to their musical, Carmella revealed, “I pitched to work with Pretty Deadly. Proactively, I approached them first, and they admired the concept. Everyone was on the same page. Together, we brainstormed and developed a plethora of ideas, pitches, and storylines. Simultaneously, I discussed these conceptualizations with the chief writer.”
When asked about her vision for the musical, she enthusiastically explained, “They were projecting this musical. The production was anticipated to be a disaster, until my arrival. I was thrilled at the prospect. I envisaged an impeccable amalgamation of all our characters. I have a knack for working with characters like R-Truth and James Ellsworth. Their distinctive eccentricity attracts me. Their profound character engagement made me believe in the potential success of our collaboration.”
Finally, she revealed the current status of their proposed collaboration, saying, “The idea was very well received, who knows, maybe it’ll see light in the future. Having discussions with the writer, we thought, ‘Perhaps I will be part of the musical. Dreaming of Broadway, I asked, ‘Could I be a part of the musical?’ He seemed unsure due to potential filming schedule clashes. But oh, the mind-blowing ideas we had! Joining a WWE musical would have been an outlandish move, but Carmella would have flourished.”
